Definition of the Credit Hour (CH)

-          One lecture (L) hour per week per semester is assigned to one credit.

-          Two tutorial (T) hours per week per semester are assigned to one credit. However, if it is less than two hours no credit is given.

-          Three practical (P) hours per week per semester are assigned to one credit. However, if it is less than three hours no credit is given.

-          In the case of one tutorial and two practical hours per week per semester it is assigned to one credit.

 

Practical Summer Training (Non-credit Requirement)

The student is required to spend minimum period of eight weeks during summer vacations as a part of B.Sc. degree requirement in a factory, public/private engineering establishments or an industrial enterprise. Upon the completion of each period a technical report is to be submitted.
